Believe: No one can get anything from the God of abundance through unbelief. You must first believe that HE is the God of abundance and a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. You must believe that HE came so that you may have abundance of life. If only you believe, you will see the glory of God. Your faith is the password to abundance. Believe the Lord your God so shall you be established in abundance. For God loves the world so much that HE gave His son so that if you will believe in Him you will not be destroyed but have abundance of life. Doubt (double mindedness) locks the door to abundance. Faith the size of a mustard seed is all you need. Just believe.
Tithes: This is one never failing way of accessing abundance. In fact it is God’s sanctioned or approved way of testing His ability to shower abundance. Malachi 3:10NLT: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
God deliberately asks that you try Him, put Him to test. This means that when you pay Tithes God is bound by His word to bless you in abundance. God’s integrity cannot be tampered with. He says it and sees to it that it comes to pass.
Sow that little: The principle of sowing and reaping cannot be overemphasized. Nobody plants a seed of corn and reaps a seed of corn. No! There will always be a multiplication of whatever you Sow. The first miracle of multiplication by Jesus, was the feeding of 5000 men (not counting women and children) with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes which were given by a young boy who sowed the little he had with the hope and faith that the master knows just what to do with it. By the time Jesus was done multiplying, there were 12 baskets full left. The widow of Zarephath who cooked her last meal and gave it to Elijah also got a multiplication and lived in abundance for the rest of her life.
I know that little is not enough but if you can give it all up to God, He will multiply it. You have a child and you want more? Then be like Hannah or Abraham, give that child back to God and He will give you children.
Be prudent, don’t waste: when God gives in abundance, it is not for us to waste His resources but for us to channel them to our environment so that we can be a blessing to many and by that expand our Father’s business (God’s Kingdom). He blesses us so we can all be a blessing. So do not waste God’s blessings. Jesus after feeding the 5000 asked His disciples to gather the leftovers, teaching us not to be wasters but prudent spenders.
