Your ability to fulfil the kingdom mandate lies in the strength of your fellowship and communion with God.
Acts 1:8 AMPC
You cannot witness effectively without power from God. The good news is that you have received that power the moment you received the Holy Spirit. The question is what are you doing with it?
And He sent them out to announce and preach the kingdom of God and to bring healing.
Luke 9:2 AMPC
The mandate is for you to go out there to preach about the kingdom of God and bring healing through the power you have received. You are meant to be the light that would lead others to Christ. However, your ability to do this lies in the strength of your fellowship and communion with God.
But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
John 16:13 AMPC
The essence of having the Holy Spirit is to be your guide, helper, counselor and instructor, among many other things. The more you take time to listen to Him, communicate with Him and do His will, the more you would be able to fulfil the kingdom mandate and be who God has created you to be.
[WE ARE writing] about the Word of Life [in] Him Who existed from the beginning, Whom we have heard, Whom we have seen with our [own] eyes, Whom we have gazed upon [for ourselves] and have touched with our [own] hands.
And the Life [an aspect of His being] was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated), and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declare to you the Life, the eternal Life [in Him] Who already existed with the Father and Who [actually] was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers].
What we have seen and [ourselves] heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
1 John 1:1-3 AMPC
Your fellowship with God is what distinguishes you as a believer. It is what would enable your desires towards doing God's will. It gives you the impetus to show others the light. Don't waste the power within you. Go forth and shine. Time is ticking, and the time is short.
Have a blessed day!
